This long-standing tradition comes from the families' other business, Nardone Wine & Food. Giovanni Nardone, founder and CEO of Nardone Wine & Food has a long traditional history of discovering and producing fine wines. Giovanni was born on the family vineyard in Italy, along with his father Ernesto Nardone and grandfather Carmine Nardone. As a young boy Giovanni would search all regions to find the best grapes and wines. They would also grow their own grapes on the family vineyard to produce the family wine.
This tradition, which the Nardone family has brought to America, still exists via their wines imported from Italy. In addition to wine, the Nardone family also imports fine Italian food products, many of which are used at the restaurant. The next generation Ernesto, Anna, Giovanna and Fernando Nardone along with their father Giovanni and mother "Mamma Michelina" are in constant search for quality foods and wines in keeping a total respect for Italian traditions.
